Dr. Rahim Ali is a committed and caring dentist with more than 20 years of clinical practice. In 2005, he received Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honours from the University of Alberta. He started his career practicing in British Columbia but came back to Alberta in 2013, where he continues to deliver excellent dental care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Ali has a strong passion for dental restoration also known as restorative dentistry, including composite fillings, crown, bridges and implant-retained crowns. He also enjoys performing root canal therapy and offering Invisalign treatment to enable patients to have healthier and more beautiful smiles.
Many people feel scared or nervous about visiting the dentist, but Dr. Ali is known for being calm and gentle with every patient. He is certified to give oral sedation, laughing gas (nitrous oxide), and general sedation, which allows him to deliver safe and comfortable treatment experiences.
He has broadened his expertise in 2025 by earning his certification in dental sleep medicine and providing laser treatments and oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea and snoring.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ali spent four years as a supervising clinical dentist in the Dental Assisting Program at CDI College in both British Columbia and Edmonton, Alberta, mentoring future dental professionals with a commitment to excellence and patient-centred care.
Outside the office, Dr. Ali enjoys working out, swimming, listening to podcasts, travelling, and spending quality time with his family.
