We are a family dental clinic located in west and east Leduc that offers comprehensive dental services for routine appointments and emergencies for every member of your family. Our convenient location, as well as our evening and weekend hours make our dental services easily accessible to everyone. Dr. Rahim Ali and his team have over 80 years of combined dental experience to treat you and your family with quality, personalized care. We are proudly accepting new patients, and look forward to meeting you!
Dr. Rahim Ali
Dr. Rahim Ali is a caring dentist with more than 20 years of experience. He got his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 2005. Dr. Ali focuses on restorative dentistry like white fillings, crowns, bridges, and implant-retained crowns. He also does root canals and provides Invisalign to straighten teeth.
He is gentle and helps patients who feel nervous at the dentist. Dr. Ali can safely use oral, nitrous oxide, and general sedation. He now also helps patients who snore or have sleep apnea. He has taught dental students too. When he is not working, Dr. Ali likes to exercise, swim, listen to podcasts, travel, and spend time with his family.
Dr. Raghav Ahuja
Dr. Raghav Ahuja is a compassionate and skilled general dentist originally from New Delhi, India. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2014 before moving to Canada in 2015. Dedicated to advancing his dental education, Dr. Ahuja earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta in 2024.
While pursuing his studies, Dr. Ahuja gained valuable hands-on experience working as a dental assistant in Calgary, Medicine Hat, and Thunder Bay. These diverse settings helped shape his patient-centred approach and strong communication skills.
Sam - Office Manager
Sam has a Masters in Telecommunications and has done numerous dental certifications from BCIT in admin, security and management. Sam comes with over 10 years of experience in managing dental clinics and patient care.
Outside work, she is a mommy of two and loves to watch her children play hockey, piano and swim.
Aafreen - Registered Dental Hygienist
Aafreen graduated from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries in 2021. She is a foreign-trained dentist who wanted her passion for dentistry to continue, so she pursued her hygiene career in Canada. She likes to grow her knowledge by updating through continuing educational courses. She did her laser certification in 2022 to help her patients with periodontal conditions. Since the beginning of her career as a dental hygienist, she has prided herself in providing gentle, yet thorough dental hygiene therapy to help improve her patients’ oral and overall health.
Outside of work, Aafreen loves to spend time with her family and friends and likes to explore new places.
Sandy - Registered Dental Hygienist
Sandy attended the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries and graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist with high honors in March 2023. She worked as a dental assistant for 5 years before earning her degree in Dental Hygiene.
Sandy enjoys sharing her knowledge and educating patients on the importance of oral health, and seeing the difference this can make in a patient’s life. She has been married for 9 years and has a beautiful daughter. During her free time she enjoys being with her family and traveling.
Evelyn - Registered Dental Assistant
Evelyn has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2018. Evelyn is delighted to be working in the dental field and takes great pride in delivering the best care possible to our patients here at Suntree Dental. Aside from her commitment to Suntree Dental, Evelyn enjoys being outdoors, traveling and going to the movies.
Shakira - Sterilization Assistant
Shakira was born and raised in Gander Bay, NL. She completed her Dental Assistant course at Keyin College in St. John’s, NL in 2017. She then moved to Fort McMurray and worked at a dental clinic there. She and her partner moved to Edmonton in 2020. In Edmonton, she completed the Dental Clinic Administration course in 2022. She has enjoyed working with Suntree Dental in Leduc since 2023. In her spare time, Shakira enjoys camping, shopping and cheering on the Oilers.
Shelley - Receptionist
Shelley grew up in Saskatchewan and received her Dental Assisting Diploma from SIAST in Regina. She has worked for over 30 years in the Dental Field in both Assisting and Reception roles. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, curling and spending time with family and friends.
Karlee - Receptionist
Karlee is a Registered Emergency Medical Responder as well as a Certified Medical Dispatcher. Karlee also is a Certified Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach and Holistic Nutrition Expert. She also was a competitive swimmer growing up and now competes as a Wellness bodybuilder. She loves volunteering her time with helping others and is always energetic around the clinic.
